unfettered precipitation since last nite makes for a white post-christmas. somehow this finally makes winter correctly real, yeah!
on reflection snow is only properly enjoyable when you are holed up all snuggly in an apartment without sidewalk shoveling responsibilities and the 'fridge is stocked and the city plows are reliable.
